Heh. A nice and cheerful apology for a first post. Sorry about the puzzle, sorry about the secrecy, sorry for dragging you out of the system, and for getting Slewth arrested. I've no doubt it'll all be worth it.
Marie said to me once: 'It doesn't matter about the means, so long as the ends are justified'. Y'know what? I think she's right. I hope she's right. I'd like to think I'm doing the right thing, I'm sure I am, but what if, what if my views are clouded?
I'm sure you're fed up hearing this now, but I need your help. Together we can change my (our) future, and who knows, things may be different in 2037.
Listen, and I'll tell you why...and how.

I will listen, Will
btw, maybe you know me as wyzalf
I see you've found me. You probably know that I can't access the interface any more, I'm hoping Slewth's still alive. Could you find out for me?
Slewth's karma is currently red, so he is still alive. When agents lose their connection with the interface, their karma goes black--so until that happens, we can consider him to be alive (and even then, it merely means he is no longer on the system, not that he is confirmed dead).

I dubble checked what notgordian said, and yes he is still red.
Will,
I am still wondering... In your blogpost you say that it was you that caused the arrest of Slewth. Why did you do that ? From your postings on the site I get the impressions that you two were once very good friends. Obviously something happened and you dissapeared for a while. Then Slewth asks you for help and you inform the authorities so they can arrest him. What is the story behind this ?
Hi arrest was indirect. It was a result of the communication through the interface, and what he wants me to do. One step at a time. I'll explain it all. But I need to start from the beginning.
Then for gossake, man, start!
I agree with Wolfhawk, Will. And I'll try Slewth again; maybe he's allowed to talk at last.
